"I first met Brick Briscoe when he came to Paris filming for his TV show "Any Road" He then came back to Europe with his band playing shows in Ireland, England and France. After a somewhat liquid after show party, he persuaded me to help him with a project featuring songs he wanted to record with people he had met on his travels...this album should be out in April. I visited Brick in his home town of Petersburg, Indiana, and a few glasses later we thought maybe people were not aware of his vast back catalogue; so the idea of a "best of" came up. So here it is...twenty years of rock and roll...enjoy." - Nick Buxton

"I first came to France in 2018 to produce a documentary about one of the last American GIs to be killed in WWI. After filming was complete, I spent three days alone in Paris. I was hooked. I had never felt so welcome and at home anywhere other than my beloved hometown in Indiana. I knew I had to return to do more work, and somehow I found ways to do so. Meeting everyone at French Fries/Basement helped me find an out of town "home away from home." I now have life long friends and have had the luxury to meet some of my inspirations. I hope you enjoy this collection of some of my songs and feel the urge to dig deeper. See you soon!" - Brick
